About us

THE JAMES CYCLE COMPANY GARAGE

The James Cycle Company Garage is southeast Michigan’s only dedicated motorcycle storage facility, run by bikers for bikers. We offer a personal service for you and your bike at our extremely private and secure facility close to I-75 and M-59, and just minutes from downtown Rochester and heading north to wide open curvy roads to slice and dice.

At the JCC-G, you can be sure you will receive professional service from our knowledgeable and professionally industry-trained staff. Should you require short or long-term storage, you can be assured you have found the right place.

We offer all the services you might require, including detailing and transport. Please feel free to look around the website, but if you need any further information please contact us.

When your motorcycle is booked into our facility, you will get a unique username and password assigned to your vehicle. This allows you to log in to our website and view photos of your vehicle after detailing/valeting, view it via live CCTV, or order additional services. Any additional documents will be uploaded to your account too, allowing us to check for registration expiry dates, service intervals, or any other work which might need carrying out while your motorcycle is in our care.

Since 1996, Jim Colangelo (pictured on the left of this photo, with his Royal Enfield) has been riding motorcycles of all types and has finally turned that passion into a business - a community - to be enjoyed and shared by like-minded individuals. After many years of parking his bikes on city streets, shoving them into tight garage spaces, sheds, or worse, it became apparent that there is a need for others struggling with the same issues.

To fill this void, Jim is leasing a large, secure, climate-controlled warehouse and transforming it into an exclusive motorcycle parking facility. It is his intention to create a friendly, secure, and congenial atmosphere where like-minded people can share tech tips, help one another wrench, and gather for coffee, organize group rides, and more.
